Antonín Vojtek, a painter and a graphic.
Born on 10th January 1934 in Horní Bojanovice.He lives and works in Břeclav. He graduated from the Pegagogical Faculty of Masaryk´s University in Brno.

 Vojtek is called "The Painter of South Moravia". He was born in South Moravia and  lives there. He loves South Moravia and expresses its beauty throughout whole his life in an original way.

Antonín Vojtek has been interested in painting since his childhood. He has painted and drawn the countryside  of his native village Horní Bojanovice in Břeclav district.He  set out his first exhibition in this settlement in 1965. Since then he has been exhibited  his works as one-man shows in 150 places. He has been exhibited his creations in the Czech Republic,  namely in Prague, Brno, Mariánské Lázně, Františkovy Lázně, Hustopeče at Brno, Břeclav, Lednice, Mikulov, Dačice, Třebíč, Adamov, Kyjov, Znojmo, Zlín, Podivín, Kroměříž, Jihlava, Olomouc, Slávkov at Brno, Hodonín and other dozens of towns, and abroad, more concretely in Germany, Austria, Scotland, Italy and Greece.

His paintings are placed in galleries and private collections in nearly fifty countries.

At present he creates mostly oil-paintings. You can also see his drawings and  graphic works, water-colour paintings and plastic artefacts. During the last  few years there has been published yearly a blood calendar containing his art production, under the patronage of Czech celebrities such as Chantal Poullain or Dagmar Havlová.
